This site is dedicated to the preservation and
education of the early days of stock car racing, as it pertains to an
extraordinary, independent, Virginia Pioneer of Racing, Curtis Turner.
Curtis Turner was born April 12, 1924 in Floyd County, Virginia and died
October 4, 1970.
This site is maintained by Sue Turner Wright, daughter of Curtis Turner, legendary stock car racer.
